A Christmas session here is not a quick photo on a set. It is a little Christmas workshop for your children: they decorate gingerbread, write a letter to Santa, then ride a little train through falling snow to post it in Santa's letterbox. While they play, I take the photos.

Your family has the studio to yourselves for up to 30 minutes across 2 Christmas sets, and you receive 5 or 15 edited digital photos depending on your package. The Christmas page always has the current release and offer details.

Tell me your baby's age when you enquire, and we can discuss suitable photographs and timing around feeds and sleep. A short Christmas session is different from a full newborn photoshoot, so we will plan what is comfortable for your baby within the session.

A Christmas session is a short seasonal family session across two Christmas sets. A newborn session is a separate, baby-led session with time for feeding, settling and the setups included in your chosen package.

Choose two or three colours and share them across the family. You do not need to match. Christmas red, burgundy, forest green, navy, tartan, cream and camel work on the sets. Avoid neon, big logos, cartoon characters and tiny stripes.

Choose comfortable outfits the children can sit and move in. A soft romper and a spare outfit work well for babies. Dresses, knit jumpers or collared shirts can fit the Christmas setting without making movement difficult.

Give them something to do. Gingerbread, a letter and a little train give children activities to explore while I photograph them. I use gentle encouragement and let a shy child warm up.

Bring water, a snack for afterwards and a spare top for sticky fingers. Tell me about food allergies before the session so we can discuss whether the gingerbread activity is suitable.

A child may need time to watch from a parent's lap. We do not force participation. Let me know about your child's needs before the day, and we can discuss how to make the session feel more comfortable.
