Manly families book with us in two ways: they drive up to the Mona Vale studio for the full posed newborn or maternity experience, or they stay put and we bring the fully-kitted mobile van to their home or their favourite stretch of coast.
Manly is busy, and that is worth planning around. Our outdoor sessions here run early morning or in the final ninety minutes before sunset, when the light is soft and the promenade has thinned out. We know which corners stay quiet even on a Saturday.

Sheltered, east-facing and stunning at sunrise. Our first choice in Manly for maternity and young families.
North Steyne dunes
The Norfolk pines and low dune grass give texture without crowds, and it works at sunset even though the beach faces east.
Fairy Bower
Sandstone, rock pool and ocean backdrop. Beautiful, but slippery — not one for toddlers who bolt.

The green alternative when the wind is up. Filtered light through the trees and easy parking.
For newborn sessions in the first fortnight, most Manly families choose in-home over the drive north. It is the same gear and the same Aline, and nobody has to pack a car.

- Do you photograph newborns in Manly?
- Yes. Manly families book either the Mona Vale studio (about 30 minutes to the studio) or an in-home newborn session where we bring lighting, wraps and the full kit to you. In-home is the usual choice in the first fortnight when nobody wants to pack a car.
- How much does a photoshoot in Manly cost?
- Sessions start from $590 + GST, or $389 + GST with 8 hand-retouched digitals under the Founding Families PLUS limited offer. Most families invest between $800 and $1,200 once wall art or an album is included, and there is no travel charge to Manly. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

- Our regular Manly locations are Shelly Beach & Cabbage Tree Bay, North Steyne dunes, Fairy Bower. We choose based on the season, the wind and the ages of your children, and confirm the exact meeting point the day before.
- What time of day works best for outdoor photos in Manly?
- Sunrise or the last ninety minutes before sunset. The light is soft, the shadows are kind and the spots are quieter. With babies and toddlers we usually lean towards the morning, before the day catches up with them.
- What happens if it rains on our Manly session?
- We move you into the Mona Vale studio or reschedule to the next suitable window at no cost. We make the call together the day before, so nobody is packing the car in the wet.
- Do you travel to Manly at no extra cost?
- Yes — travel across the Northern Beaches, Manly included, is part of the session. There is no mileage fee, no location surcharge and no minimum spend to have us come to you.
- How far in advance should Manly families book?
- For newborns, reach out in the second trimester and we hold a tentative date around your due window. For maternity, aim for 32 to 36 weeks. For family sittings, four to six weeks is usually enough, though short-notice dates open most weeks.
