Newborn — first two weeks

The hush of a new world, held still.

In your baby's first fortnight, the hands they're passed into matter. Aline is a childcare-qualified educator with seven years in NSW early-childhood rooms before the studio — trained in newborn safety, fully insured, and trusted by 400+ Northern Beaches families. Posed and lifestyle frames at baby's pace, with feeds and contact-naps built in. Two retouched portraits in your inbox within 24 hours.

— Why this matters

In the first two weeks, your baby will be touched by very few people. Make sure one of them knows what they're doing.

Most newborn photographers are photographers first. Aline spent seven years inside NSW early-childhood rooms before opening the studio — settling, feeding and soothing dozens of babies a day. That's thousands of newborns and infants safely held before yours is ever placed in her hands.

Diploma in Early Childhood Education. HLTAID012 First Aid for Education & Care. Current WWCC. Certified Child Restraint fitter. Full public liability and professional indemnity. Trained in newborn posing safety — a spotter always within arm's reach, every "pose" composited from two safe frames.

Valet at the kerb, room already warm, white-noise on. You hand over the nappy bag — we take it from here.

02

Baby's pace, not ours

Posed wraps, parent embraces and sibling moments — paused whenever bub needs a feed, a nappy, or a cuddle. No clock-watching.

First hellos by tonight

Two or three fully retouched portraits land in your inbox by the end of the day — ready for grandparents and the announcement.

Common questions.

When should I book a newborn session?
Most families reach out in the second trimester. We hold a tentative date for your due window and lock it in once baby arrives — within the first 14 days is ideal for the deep, sleepy frames.
Is posed newborn photography safe?
Yes — when the photographer is trained. Aline is certified in newborn posing safety and infant first aid, every 'pose' is composited from two safe images, and a spotter is always within arm's reach.
What if baby is unsettled on the day?
We work to baby's rhythm — feeds, cuddles and contact naps are built into the booking. We've never run out of time and we've never had a session that didn't deliver beautiful frames.
— Ready when you are

The first 14 days only happen once.

Lock in your date with a $199 deposit — fully refundable up to 30 days before your session date, with up to two free reschedules along the way. Or send a quiet enquiry first — no payment to chat.
