Narrabeen is ten minutes from the studio and offers the widest range of outdoor backdrops of any suburb we shoot in — a lagoon, a lake reserve, a long open beach and a rock pool, all within a few minutes of each other.
It is also the suburb where wind is least likely to ruin a session, because if the ocean side is blowing, the lagoon side is almost always calm. We have moved sessions between the two on the day more than once.

- Do you photograph newborns in Narrabeen?
- Yes. Narrabeen families book either the Mona Vale studio (about 10 minutes to the studio) or an in-home newborn session where we bring lighting, wraps and the full kit to you. In-home is the usual choice in the first fortnight when nobody wants to pack a car.
- How much does a photoshoot in Narrabeen cost?
- Sessions start from $590 + GST, or $389 + GST with 8 hand-retouched digitals under the Founding Families PLUS limited offer. Most families invest between $800 and $1,200 once wall art or an album is included, and there is no travel charge to Narrabeen. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- Where do you photograph families in Narrabeen?
- Our regular Narrabeen locations are Narrabeen Lagoon boardwalk, North Narrabeen rock pool, Jamieson Park, Narrabeen. We choose based on the season, the wind and the ages of your children, and confirm the exact meeting point the day before.
- What time of day works best for outdoor photos in Narrabeen?
- Sunrise or the last ninety minutes before sunset. The light is soft, the shadows are kind and the spots are quieter. With babies and toddlers we usually lean towards the morning, before the day catches up with them.

- We move you into the Mona Vale studio or reschedule to the next suitable window at no cost. We make the call together the day before, so nobody is packing the car in the wet.
- Do you travel to Narrabeen at no extra cost?
